Here's a wild Dali-esque Kirby trip from Alarming Tales # 1 (1957). I wonder if Steve Ditko's psychedelic backgrounds in his Doctor Strange comic book which first appeared in Strange Tales #110 (July 1963) were influenced in part by this story? I chose what I thought were some of the best panels and zoomed-in. Page 1, panel 1. Page 3, panel 1.

Turns out the phantasmagorical hallucinatory shapes chasing the guy were actually a Martian fourth-dimensional pretty girl. I love a happy ending. Page 5, panel 5 - 7.
I like all the multi-colored circles from panels 6 - 7 (pg. 4), looks like "Attack of the Old 45 Record Labels." Also, from panel 2 (pg. 5) the image of the smiling Fourth-Dimensional Martian girl sitting on the backside of the sprawled-out guy is priceless.
